Welcome to my world

Hello everybody out there in internet land. And welcome to my little blog.
I’ve started this blog to document and share my progress as build and work on my various projects. And also as a place to put my many ramblings.
Any who on to my first post.

That picture above is of me at Ohayocon this past January. The outfit I am wearing is supposed to be the armor from the game Halo 3: ODST. As you can probly tell its not really that good. Yeah sure its good for something I put together in like 3 months. And true many people at the convention thought it was “awesome” but I think it was because I’m a “big fish in a little pond” and I don’t want to be just that. I want my armors to be something people all over look at and say “I want mine to look that good”
Many of the methods im going to be using on this build can be found over at the 405th’s web site http://405th.com/
To start off my build I’m going to use the pepakura method and the files made by Hugh Holder(click here to see his work.) of the 405th. Now let me stress that I did NOT make these files I am only using them to make my own set of armor. And possibly a few sets for my friends. Anyway on to the pics.

All the tools I’ll be using  for this stage of the build
pictures of the Shin, boot cover, and knee

Belt buckel, hip plate, butt plate, and front plate

thats all i have to show for about a week and a half of work
